Stalls:

Please click here for a draft table plan for Saturday 12 April.

Please click here for a draft table plan for Sunday 13 April.

The table plan is subject to change.

  • Your stall consists of a standard 6’ x 2.5’ trestle table and one chair.

  • As with all our markets, you are welcome to bring display structures to place on top of your table to create interest and height at no extra cost. Please ensure any structures which sit on top of your table / stall are securely fastened or clamped to prevent them falling.

  • Please note that this will be a very open plan display method with most of the stands arranged in back to back rows. The stands will be numbered. Please seek out one of our stewards upon arrival who will guide you to your table.

  • Stands are not equipped with an electricity supply.

Please remember that the ethos of Crafty Fox is supporting designer makers and handmade goods. In the past, one or two traders have mixed imported goods in with their own items. Please stick to self-made/handmade/made in UK goods only to uphold the integrity of the event.

Set up:

  • Set up on the day of the event is from 9.30am, and your stand must be ready in advance of 11am when the event is scheduled to start. We ask also that you stay till the end of the event at 5pm.

  • At the end of the event please take away all your rubbish with you. We are trying to run a sustainable event generating as little rubbish as possible.

Additional structures:

  • If you plan on bringing any additional free-standing structures which are not sitting directly on the table top (including art browsers, clothing rails, shelving units, peg boards, etc) these must be paid for in advance so that we know where to place these on our table plan.

  • Walkways have to be kept clear of obstructions at all times to allow for good crowd flow and to prevent delay in evacuation should there be an emergency.

  • Please get in touch Catherine at catherine.palmer@craftyfoxmarket.co.uk if you are yet to book these structures onto your stall reservation. We will ask for additional payment on the day if additional structures haven’t been booked in advance.

Other information:

  • Please bring some additional layers as although the market is indoors, the venue can get cold.

  • You may want to bring additional battery powered lighting to highlight your stall.

  • Please ensure to keep all walkways clear when setting up your stall to avoid possible trip hazards for yourself and those around you.

  • No naked flames are allowed so if you are displaying items which use candles, please ensure you use battery powered alternatives.

  • If you are bringing structures or signage to put on top of your stall table, please ensure to consider the possibility of the structure / sign falling and causing injury. We advise you to bring clamps or other fixing devices to ensure that your table top is secure in the event of a customer or fellow trader accidentally knocking into it.

  • Please do not bring any pop up banners as they can potentially obstruct your neighbour on the opposite side.

  • Bring plenty of water with you as refill spots are not easily accessible from the venue.

  • The Waitrose next door doesn’t open until midday on a Sunday so please don’t rely on it for supplies.

  • There are toilets in Coal Drops Yard, at the back of Canopy Market or in Waitrose from Midday.

Transport:

Arrival by car:

  • If you are driving, access is via Handyside Street that runs to the rear of the Granary Building.

  • As you turn left onto Stable St, please note that there may be bollards up in the road to prevent people driving down who don’t have access.

  • There should be a steward at the bollards who will move them for you if you note you are trading with Crafty Fox Market. Drive through the bollards to the drop off area.

If you will be driving to the venue with your stock please choose one of the following arrival slots:

  • 9.30am

  • 9.45am

  • 10am

Cash and Card Payments:

Marketing:

  • Please help to spread the word and the buzz amongst your friends, family and contacts in the remaining few days. Find us on Instagram / Facebook @craftyfoxmarket. The success of a market partly relies on everyone working together to promote the event!

  • Below are the social media assets to support your promotion of the market. This includes a flyer for instagram grid posts, a flyer for instagram stories and a digital 'sticker' that can be overlaid on your own images.

  • We encourage you to cross promote with other traders who are taking part in the market too so please do look out for posts/stories and actively reshare content.

  • If you have any new products or something special planned for the market, please send us a DM on instagram or email catherine.palmer@craftyfoxmarket.co.uk and we will do our best to share.
