Kate is a jewellery designer and maker. She makes all her jewellery from wood, often using acrylic, gold leaf and semi-precious stones for details. Often inspired by ancient history, architecture and ornament, she makes playful, wearable artefacts from modern materials. Kate works in a studio at home in Olney, Bucks, where everything is designed and made in-house using a laser cutter.
