Joey Ruthers is a ceramicist with a background in illustration. She has been creating homewares, jewellery and tiny knick-knacks since 2018.
She makes small batches of ceramics in her East London studio. Predominately working in Earthenware clay with hand building and slip casting techniques.
Her work is greatly inspired by folk art and often includes ghosts, dinosaurs and her black cat Maeby.
