Amy Hood Illustration

Paper Goods

Amy’s relationship with paper and pencil started early - her first ever masterpiece involved covering her dad's diary with teeny tiny squiggles. As you can imagine, it was an immediate hit. From then on it really was pretty straightforward - have pencil, will draw. Her work these days is greatly influenced by the specialisms she focused on during her Art Foundation and BA in History of Art – namely, costume design and renaissance portraiture.

Working from her bedroom/office, she creates vintage-inspired illustrations, greetings cards, gift-wrap and stationery, including portraits of inspirational women throughout history. She works primarily in pencil (graphite and colour) or Micron pen, though sometimes in combination with Photoshop.

All of her cards are printed on FSC Certified card and products come in biodegradable cellos.
