We’re excited to be holding our first spring market at The British Library on Saturday 10th May alongside their new exhibition: Unearthed: The Power of Gardening. This one day event is open to MEMBERS ONLY to trade in an iconic central London cultural institution.
Applications are open for Crafty Fox Market members ONLY from Friday 21st - Sunday 30th March.

Members will also be able to select if they’d like to apply for our summer market at The Crossing on Sunday 13th July. The British Library has a limited capacity of 45 traders. In the event we are oversubscribed, we will guarantee you a trading slot for The Crossing on Sunday 13th July .
WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
This event is focused on sustainability, we will ask you to tell us about your journey to becoming a sustainable business as part of your application form. We are not looking for businesses that do this perfectly (we understand it takes time!), we would like to hear the ways your working towards being sustainable and why it’s important to you.
Original work which is either handmade by you or produced in the UK on a small scale using your original designs
Our events are curated to ensure a balanced mix of traders that will appeal to our audience. We will do our best to spread the opportunity to as many selected traders as possible.
We are specifically keen to welcome traders who are able to incorporate an element of demonstration or personalisation to their stand.
KEY INFORMATION ABOUT THE VENUE, MARKET AND PRICING:
When: Saturday 10th May, 10am - 5pm
Where: 96 Euston Road, London, NW1 2DB. The British Library is a well respected cultural institution in central London. Situated in Kings Cross, The British Library welcomes a vast array of visitors to its vast and iconic spaces.
Timings: Set up from 8.30am, market open from 10am-5pm (note this is 1hr earlier than this market has started previously).
Transport: Nearest station is Kings Cross, St Pancras International and Euston.
Price: 6ft trestle table - £90 (incl. VAT). Chairs are provided.
Need to know: No access to power. We are anticipating high demand for this event and will guarantee trading slots for our summer market (Sunday 13 July at The Crossing) if you are not selected for this event.
IMPORTANT INFORMATION ON OUR CANCELLATION POLICY
As a small business ourselves, we spend a significant amount of time negotiating with a venue, securing trading dates, managing the applications for a market and publicising the event and we can find ourselves in a tricky situation in the event of a cancellation.
If your application is successful but subsequently you are unable to attend, we will reference our terms of trading in your refund. If it is more than 30 days before the event, we will refund stall fees minus a £20 administration fee. If it is between 14 - 30 days before the event, we will refund 50% of stall fees. No refunds will be provided if less than 14 days notice is provided regardless of the circumstances.
In the event of a market date being cancelled by us due to forces beyond our control, we will offer a refund on your trading fees, minus £25 per trader. We hope you understand our reasons for doing this and thank you for your consideration.
