I am a London-based ceramic artist, creating small-batch, wheel-thrown vases and bowls inspired by movement, texture, and the layered rhythms of nature. My practice is deeply intuitive, allowing clay to guide the process as I explore organic forms, layered glazes, and tactile surfaces.
Drawing from my Indian heritage and upbringing in Kenya, I am fascinated by the way landscapes shift—tree canopies swaying in the wind, waves lapping against the shore, the quiet layering of earth and sky. These moments find their way into my work through subtle botanical imprints, fluid silhouettes, and earthy, nature-infused tones.
I work primarily in stoneware and Raku, embracing the unpredictability of alternative firing techniques. My vases and bowls are slow-made, celebrating the balance between control and chance, refinement and rawness. Each piece is unique, designed to invite touch, connection, and a sense of stillness.
I look to regularly showcase my work at makers’ markets, exhibitions, and online. I also take commissions and collaborate with designers, stylists, and collectors looking for ceramics that tell a story and bring quiet beauty into their spaces.
