I'm Shell, mum of two boys, a sausage dog and a cat. I live and work in Hertfordshire. I originally trained as a costumer designer and then an animator so I combined both these skills to create some unique and quirky characters which I bring to life with embroidery. I'm best known for my felt character decorations, greetings cards and my abstract embroidery. Recently, I have started painting and now have a range of hand painted jewellery and original pieces of art, embellished with embroidery.
