BOLD & MAXIMAL ART JEWELLERY FOR LOVERS OF NEON FOLKLORE.

Hello, I’m Julia Roy-Williams, a designer/maker and educator based in Manchester. I founded WONDERHAUS in 2009 from my first studio at Manchester Craft & Design Centre.I personally design and construct every piece by combining digital techniques with traditional craft processes.

Bold and innovative in style; I utilise materials that elevate and challenge the traditional value notion of precious jewellery. I'm passionate about plastic as a material, working with heat forming, laser etching & cutting to create wearable art pieces.

Wonderhaus designs are created to bring joy and celebration into everyday life. My jewellery pieces are for festivals and dance floors. I want the wearer to feel like they are having fun while wearing them. I believe that positivity and happiness are contagious, and I'm confident that people will ask where you got your amazing jewellery from.

My studio is based at Islington Mill in Salford. I offer a safe and supportive environment for public workshops focused on using crafting as a tool for enhancing well-being and building confidence. The space is equipped with 3D printers, rolling mills, a plastic oven, and a heat press. If you’d like to get involved, please check out my Instagram or website to see what's on offer!
