The Capalog designs and makes casual-wear caps, all drafted from scratch and sewn in house, in small batches in West Yorkshire.
All the caps are designed in a combination of timeless minimal styles, but with a modern playful twist. Caps include everyday basic caps & fisher caps, cloche caps, flat caps and trapper caps.
Fabrics used are organic cottons & denims, speckled & herringbone wools in fun colour combos and timeless colour shades. Fabrics are also independently sourced and slow fashion and long term sustainability is a super important part of the process.
Run by a Jen, a milliner; after years of flat patterning caps as a part of working as a theatrical milliner & looking down at people’s caps on London buses and obsessively figuring out the pattern-cutting.
Long term goals include working towards adding products with a purpose to support and champion good mental health.
Commissions and one offs are also available and all the caps are available in sizes XS-4XL & custom sizes.
