House of Happy Threads

Clothing/Kids

I’m the one woman band behind House of Happy Threads, making children’s and adult clothing. All of my products are created by me in my little sewing hub in West Wickham, Kent, and my fabrics are printed in Essex. My aim has been to find designers and printers all in the UK to minimise the carbon footprint. My clothing designs are quirky, fun, unique and tie-in perfectly with festival lovers, or for people that like something a bit bold and different. I make everything to order to reduce waste. None of my fabrics are thrown away, the remnants are used to make re-usable face wipes, or donated to my sewing group to make hearts for children’s local hospitals and charities.

10% of my profits are donated to Mind Charity. A charity close to my heart as my mother in law has suffered with mental health issues all her life, and this charity was chosen whilst making masks during the pandemic.

My love of handmade clothes came out of having my daughter, Tilly. I wanted something different to what you wouldn’t find on the high street.

It’s an absolute joy making clothes for you and it’s wonderful seeing you in my unique designs.
