At Double Denim, I create high-quality, robust and original children’s wear for a stylish and environmentally conscious customer. The brand began when I started making clothes for my own children. I wanted comfy clothes that were robust and practical, but that were also fun and original - things I enjoyed seeing the kids wearing.
I design with the kid's needs forefront – unisex styles that are easy to pull on and off and perfect for playing - but with a unique and individual style that isn't the standard high street offering. At the heart of Double Denim is durability, functionality and classic style with a fun and colourful twist. Every item is hand made in my studio in London, where production is primarily on a made-to-order basis.
Sustainability is an integral part of the brand. The main material I use is second hand denim, adding in vintage and deadstock fabrics to bring colour and print to the designs. Longevity of the product is a focus with stretchy waistbands, generous turn ups and roomy fit to allowing for a longer period of wear.
Everything at Double Denim has been designed to be loved well and then handed down!
